For the Grace is an echo back to my first church in Tucson, Arizona called Grace Chapel. I stumbled into a Christian commune at 3am. It was a place of grace.
Grace was a richly spirit filled, abundantly anointed place unlike any church I have found since. Sometimes worship could become, well, enthusiastic.
Everyone was accepted with whatever expression of faith they were willing to offer. Grace blended traditional hymnal, with gospel, R&B, Rock and folk styles in a wide reaching set of ministries.
'For the Grace' is a nod to the incredible life changing experiences and 'giving it all' praise and worship of my time at Grace Chapel, Tucson.
Oh, to stand with the righteous in the land of the living
Oh, to rest in His presence, let the peace have no end
Oh, to build up my faith by lingering in this holy place
Oh, to lay down my will, till I will turn to face Your face
I will raise my hands and I lift my voice
When I fall I will stand, I have made my choice
Every hope that I hold lies within Your grace
I will praise Your name for the grace you freely cast my way
Oh, to sit with humble with their abundance for living
Oh, to call to the broken, come let His love make amends
Oh, to open my heart to a touch of healing in this place
Oh, to lay down my life, till I will rise to sing your praise
I will raise my hands and I lift my voice
When I fall I will stand, I have made my choice
Every hope that I hold lies within Your grace
I will praise Your name for the grace you freely cast my way
Oh for the grace you cast my way, I will rise to sing your praise (4x)
I will raise my hands and I lift my voice
When I fall I will stand, I have made my choice
Every hope that I hold lies within Your grace
I will praise Your name for the grace you freely cast my way
Oh for the grace you cast my way, I will rise to sing your praise (4x)
