This song was written for a kids video project for a friend of mine named Jack Teetor. The song is about my daughter, Sarah.

Sarah loved people and would go up and make friends with almost anyone. I loved watching her make friends and forget to ask their name.
This is to that time of innocence.

Everyone busy, got something to do
nothing on TV, older kids gone to school

I never noticed before
that girl down the block

Is that her ball in my yard
Maybe she might want to play

I made a new friend today - easy to laugh we had lots to say
thought I can't remember her name
tomorrow when I awake
maybe I can play with the friend that I made today

I got a swing in my yard
She's got a cat, maybe she'll bring him along
We can play up in my room
Pretend its a ship that we're takin up clear to the moon

I've got a secret to share
and if she's got one too,
